Dr. Lise M. Bisnaire, PhD, C.Psych (ret)

Dr. Lise Bisnaire has is dedicated to CHEO’s vision of the best life for every child and youth.  For more than 27 years, she has worked to provide exceptional patient experiences and better connect children, youth and families to the care they need.

Dr. Bisnaire has held a range of leadership roles over her career including as a Clinician, a Clinical Director (In-patient Psychiatry), a Professional Practice Leader (Psychology), and Provincial Program Leader (Better Outcomes & Registry Network – BORN – Ontario). She was named interim Vice-President, Child Development and Community Services in August 2022.  She is currently Executive Director of the 1Door4Care CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre.

She believes deeply in partnering with families for better, evidence-based care outcomes. In previous and current roles, Lise also connects and convenes service providers, funders, and other stakeholders to get results. Dr. Bisnaire is a collaborator and a problem-solver.

Dr. Bisnaire is a playing a vital leadership role in CHEO’s 1Door4Care project which will re-imagine and re-shape care delivery to ensure each child and youth receives the right services when and where they need them.

An award-winning clinician and researcher, she has been widely published over her career and is a sought-after conference presenter. Dr. Bisnaire leads by example and creates an environment of growth and innovation — all to improve the lives of the children, youth and families.
