Denise Hardenne, RN,BScN, McED, MBA

Denise Hardenne is an accomplished executive in the non-for-profit health care sector with over 26 years of progressive leadership experience.

Denise is an alumnus of the University of Saskatchewan graduating with BScN and McED degrees. She has a Wharton School of Business Fellowship in Management for Chief Nurse Executives and has completed the Rotman Not-for-Profit Governance Essentials Program. She also has a MBA degree from Queen’s University.

Denise has been a designated Health System surveyor with Accreditation Canada for the past 17 years and has served as an external expert consultant for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term care and other health care organizations to assist with the completion of operational efficiency reviews.

In her career she has successfully held various leadership positions. Denise joined Halton Healthcare Services (HHS) in 2000 relocating to Ontario from the position of VP, Integrated Clinical Services in the Regina Health District. Halton Healthcare Services has an annual operating budget of $320 million and runs the Georgetown District Hospital, Milton District Hospital and the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital sites.
