Deborah Hill is a proven leader in the Healthcare Industry, with the latter part of her career focusing on the redevelopment of Acute Care Hospitals. Deborah has significant clinical background in Emergency, Surgical Services, Medical Device Reprocessing, Endoscopy Services, Dialysis, Satellite Oncology, and Ambulatory Care. She has also led Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory and Pharmacy teams, and Facilities and Support Services.
Deborah has held Senior Healthcare Operations and Redevelopment Leadership positions, allowing her to understand operational challenges and how to navigate transitioning healthcare operations into state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, she has extensive experience with negotiations and conflict resolution — she knows how to manage the plan and achieve results.
Deborah has participated in all aspects of healthcare redevelopment, from Functional Programming, Clinical Output Specifications, Operational Readiness, Transition and Facility Activation to Equipment planning and procurement, Warranty, and Deficiency oversight. In addition, she has worked closely with multiple partners, such as Ontario’s Ministry of Health, Infrastructure Ontario, and Indigenous Services Canada, to advance projects from a vision to reality.
Deborah has leveraged her extensive experience and passion for holistic community health over the last decade to lead several forward-thinking developments that focus on staff wellness and Indigenous consultation, such as The Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, Weeneebayko Health Authority, and the CHEO 1Door4Care development.
