As Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CHU de Québec – Université Laval, Ms. Christine Mimeault plays a leading role in the delivery of one of the most significant healthcare infrastructure projects in Canada: the Nouveau complexe hospitalier (NCH).
With 35 years of experience in the healthcare system, Ms. Mimeault has held several senior executive positions across multiple organizations in Québec. Since 2020, she has been serving as a senior leader in the health network, overseeing governance and providing strategic leadership for large-scale transformation projects.
She has played a pivotal role in shaping health policy and specialized care, notably at the National Directorate of Cancer Control at the Québec Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS), as well as within two regional health agencies. Beyond Québec, she is also recognized internationally as a speaker on topics such as major project management, governance, and healthcare innovation.
Ms. Mimeault holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Management from Université Laval and a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Project Management and Healthcare Management. She is also a Fellow of the Canadian Health Leadership Program – EXTRA FORCES.
