Chris Mullen

Chris Mullen is a member of Gambler First Nation in Binscarth, Manitoba, however born and raised in North Vancouver. Chris is a Chartered Accountant by trade, having completed his Bachelors of Business Administration at Capilano University prior to completing his articling at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver. Chris has been working exclusively with Indigenous communities and organizations since 2014, focusing primarily in financial management, strategic planning, business planning, and healthcare. In addition to his day job, Chris also sits on the Economic Development Committee for the Tla’amin Nation

In his current position as Director, Strategic Partnerships and Performance with Indigenous Health at Vancouver Coastal Health, Chris strives to uphold reconciliation and to ensure that VCH is honouring its commitments and responding to In Plain Sight and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. He does this by helping to build partnerships with Indigenous communities served by VCH, Indigenous organizations, as well as other partner organizations, to build frameworks for co-decision making and accountability.
