Cheryl is a skilled senior leader with 20 years of leadership experience in the areas of finance, acute care as well as digital systems implementation. As a results-driven visionary, she ensures that staff, patients and families are the focus for system transformation.
Cheryl’s role as Vice-President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer at Lake of the Woods District Hospital, provides opportunity to ensure strategic plans are fulfilled, with an eye to ensuring the financial sustainability of the operations.
Cheryl is the Executive Sponsor of the All Nations Hospital Project, a redevelopment project to replace the aging Lake of the Woods District Hospital. This project has been planned in partnership with leadership of Ogimaawabiitong Kenora Chiefs Advisory.
Cheryl is a CPA CGA with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce. She has completed training in Lean and Leads and recently completed the Advanced Health Leadership Program at Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto.
