Caroline Hatcher, RN, BScN, MHS is the Executive Director of the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, and the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Cancer Care Alberta.
Caroline has had over 30 years of progressive healthcare experience and has held large and complex leadership roles within Alberta Health Services. Quality improvement and patient safety are strong anchors in Caroline’s leadership practice. She is very passionate about patient and family-centred care and is dedicated to improving the care provided to patients and families. Caroline believes the foundation to improving patient care is to develop strong healthcare leaders. She also has volunteered time abroad with the U of C teaching leadership and quality improvement to healthcare leaders in Africa.
In her role, Caroline and her dyad partner, Dr. Don Morris, provide operational and strategic leadership for cancer services and programming in Calgary.
