Cameron is a Senior Design Manager at EllisDon and is currently leading the design of the new Surrey hospital and BC Cancer Centre in Coverdale, Surrey, BC. Cameron has led healthcare design management teams on many of British Columbia’s recent hospital construction projects. He has experience in P3, Design-Build, and Construction Management delivery models, with a focus on technical understanding, client relationships, and quality design management practices. He has been a key member of the design management team on the Red Fish Healing Centre (Center for Mental Health and Addiction) in Coquitlam BC, the Royal Inland Hospital Patient Care Tower in Kamloops BC, and the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project Phase 1 in Burnaby BC. Before his time in the construction industry, Cameron was an academic researcher in mechanical engineering, authoring peer-reviewed journal articles. Cameron has a passion and enthusiasm for healthcare facility design that transcends disciplinary boundaries, bringing together clinical operations, architecture, and engineering.
