Alpa Patel

Alpa has a broad professional background encompassing healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, media and quality improvement. She is passionate about using her skills in healthcare to help shape and change people’s lives at their most vulnerable moments. She is motivated by creating change through process re-design. Alpa has over 15 years in healthcare, utilising her operational and change management experience culminating in healthcare infrastructure major programmes from concept to build.

Role within the New Hospital Programme:

  • Work across directorates ensuring alignment through integration

  • Deliver Hospital 2.0 through a systems approach

  • Translating transformational standards into design briefs, engaging schemes, creating spatial designs for standard rooms, clusters and adjacencies

Future goals

  • Use innovation, best practice, patient and staff voices to build amazing new hospitals at pace.

  • Ensuring occupant safety is at the heart of how we build better hospitals.
