Presentation: Edmonton Zone Planning
The Edmonton Zone has developed a precedent-setting, integrated planning process (the 2030 Plan) that predicts the demand for health services and the size and types of health facilities that will be required to house them. The plan will ensure Edmonton Zone is efficiently allocating resources, utilizing existing space and expanding where necessary, while planning for future growth and technology. The presentation will provide an overview of the 2030 Plan with a special focus on the tools that were developed in the project for health infrastructure planning.
