COVID-19 has had a profound impact on our healthcare institutions, from
acute care to chronic long-term care. Perhaps what is less well understood
is its impact on communities and those disadvantaged populations within
them.
As we reflect on the lessons of COVID-19, it will be essential that we
consider integrated systems for health and healthcare built upon the
principle of equity, collaboration and the best health and healthcare for
all.
