Beginning his career in the construction industry, Scott gained a practical understanding of building performance and project delivery that continues to shape his work today. As a Partner and Senior Mechanical Engineer at SMS Engineering, he leads multi-disciplinary projects focused on delivering high-performance, cost-effective facilities across the healthcare, commercial, and public sectors.
Scott’s project experience includes the Portage Regional Health Centre, Canada Life’s Winnipeg Campus Redevelopment, the Winnipeg Airport Terminal Building, the Princess Auto Stadium, and currently the Portage Place Redevelopment. In 2014, he was recognized on Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine’s international Top 40 Under 40 list. Scott is passionate about helping clients navigate complex projects and create resilient, efficient facilities that deliver operational excellence and long-term value.
