Mélanie Potvin

Mélanie Potvin is the Executive Lead of Planning and Business Development at Hawkesbury and District General Hospital, where she guides organizational strategy, capital planning, and partnerships to strengthen access to highquality care for the region. She brings more than 16 years of experience in healthcare planning, capital development, operational leadership, and system transformation. Previously, as Principal and Senior Planner with Resource Planning Group, she supported hospitals across Canada for earlier stages of capital planning, including longterm program capacity planning, defining major service redesigns, leading codesign processes and leveraging demographic and utilization data to guide strategic decisions. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Projects and Planning at Hôpital Montfort, where she led several mandates including an ambulatory care strategy, the development and operationalization of the AlineChrétien Health Hub, as well as foundational work to develop the Archipel Ontario Health Team. A former physiotherapist with an MBA and a Master’s Certificate in Organizational Development and Change, she is known for translating complex system needs into actionable, collaborative strategies.
