Antoine Buisseret

Founded in 2018, the Union des Architectes Francophones pour la Santé (UAFS) aims to promote quality healthcare architecture by providing a platform for exchange between the various parties involved in the network. Primarily composed of experienced designers in healthcare architecture, the UAFS welcomes other profiles with diverse expertise (institution directors, project owners, engineers, builders, industrialists, etc.), thus supporting the sharing of knowledge regarding the design of healthcare facilities to improve practices and project quality. With representation in France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Quebec, and maintaining exchanges with counterparts in other European countries, Japan, the United States, and Canada, the UAFS has access to an international network of expertise.

As an associate architect and Director of Healthcare Market Intelligence at Lemay, Antoine has led the design and development of major hospital projects in France and internationally. His involvement in research on healthcare environments informs his design of inclusive, safe, and sustainable living spaces. A professor of architecture and author of various publications, Antoine is also Vice President of the Union des Architectes Francophones pour la Santé (UAFS), for which he established the Quebec branch bri,nging together key healthcare stakeholders in Quebec. Additionally, he leads the Care+Design initiative at Lemay, an exploratory platform focused on the future of healthcare environments.
