Scott Patterson is the Sr Director, Facilities Planning & Development at Toronto’s Sinai Health System. Scott leads a capital project management team responsible for renovations, infrastructure renewal and major development projects at all SHS sites (owned and leased). Scott is a Civil Engineering graduate from the University of New Brunswick (1997) and is a licensed P.Eng. in Ontario as well as a registered Project Management Professional (PMP).
Scott began his career with direct experience in construction while working for EllisDon Construction in Alberta and Ontario. Scott has worked with most construction delivery methods including Lump Sum, Construction Management, Design, Build and Civil Unit Price contracts.
In 2009, Scott joined one of Canada’s largest health care providers (University Health Network). On the client side, Scott delivered projects and lead a project management team and utilized several delivery models including Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). Scott also had responsibility for day to day facilities and support services functions at the Toronto Western Hospital before joining Sinai Health System in early 2018.
