Sandy Saggar joined Halton Healthcare in July 2014 as Chief Information Officer. Sandy came to Halton Healthcare with a diverse background including both private and public sector experience. He has held previous leadership positions across many industries including the financial, automotive, retail, government and healthcare sectors.
Previously Sandy was Interim Chief Information Officer for North York General Hospital. In this role he was responsible for overseeing the Information Technology, Clinical Informatics and Biomedical Engineering portfolios. During his time at North York General, he successfully led several programs and initiatives designed to improve performance and integrate patient and family experiences across complex clinical and administrative environments.
His focus at Halton Healthcare includes evolving the Information and Communications Technology Strategy, guiding the technology vision for Halton’s capital redevelopment projects and enabling the improvement of patient services across the organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration. Sandy has a high level of commitment to support quality, safe and cost effective patient care.
