Marty Lillepold

Senior Architect, Health Capital Investment Branch, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care

Marty Lillepold is the Senior Architect with the Health Capital Investment Branch of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. His role includes the review of submissions for health related capital projects in Ontario to support good design in healthcare through best practices in operational efficiency, accessibility, safety, infection control and sustainability.

Marty brings over 25 years of architectural experience in the health and community sectors and has been recognized for his built work, feasibility studies and competition entries. As an architect he encourages a design and consultation process which is inclusive and which rests on a commitment to design well and responsibly – at large scale and small. Marty has also been a guest critic in the design and professional practice programs of the University of Waterloo School of Architecture in Cambridge and is a recipient of the Guild Medal for Architectural Design from the Ontario Association of Architects.
