Regional Director of Infrastructure Support
Joe Dunford is the Regional Director of Infrastructure Support with Eastern Health which is the largest integrated health organization in Newfoundland and Labrador. They provide the full continuum of health services to a regional population of more than 300,000 and are responsible for a number of unique provincial programs. There is over 13,000 health care and support services professionals. Eastern Health extends west from St. John’s to Port Blandford and includes all communities on the Avalon, Burin and Bonavista Peninsulas.
Joe is a Professional Engineer registered with the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Bachelors of Science (Biochemistry). He has worked in both the public and private sector in primarily Engineering and Maintenance roles. Joe has been with Eastern Health since 2010 and prior to that worked for Memorial University of Newfoundland. Joe has a passion for healthcare and specifically the programming and design phases of a project.
