Diane de Camps Meschino MD, is a psychiatrist, artist and associate professor at University of Toronto with an academic focus on healthcare leadership and system transformation. Diane’s teaching serves to embed planetary health, gender, equity, justice and power discourses into education scholarship, clinical care, leadership and research. An early women’s health pioneer, she founded an academic reproductive mental health program with international expansion for underserved populations. She spearheaded several cross-sectoral leading-change events focused on climate change and healthcare. A long-term environmental steward, she serves on RCPSC’s Planetary Health and International Leadership Education committees, is a member of the World Health Leadership Network, a Leadership Advisor to the Canadian Coalition of Green Health Care and a member of the Circle of Advisors for the Green Technology Education Centre. Diane has reduced her clinical role to concentrate on collaborative leadership for healthcare system resilience and response to climate change.
