Cindy is the Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Executive at Woodstock Hospital, which is a 170-bed acute care facility serving Oxford County and region. Cindy is a skilled leader with over 25 years nursing experience, with the past 10 years being in leadership. She has risen through the ranks starting as a unit nurse on a busy medical/surgical unit and, after gaining insight into the day-to-day operations and honing in on clinical skills and experience, was able to transition into a Charge Nurse role. In this role, she had a desire to expand her skills in leadership and was able to transition into Manager then Director roles within the organization. With increased leadership experience, she transitioned into her current role of Chief Nursing Executive and Vice President of Patient Care in 2021.
Cindy graduated from Fanshawe College in 1995 and, after many years of front line nursing, went on to further her education in nursing and graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Nursing with Honours. She continues to expand her knowledge with continual education and has taken many courses in leadership to support her current practice. In the Spring, Cindy plans on furthering her education by enrolling in a Master of Nursing Program. As part of her studies, she plans on focusing on health management and change.
