Bruce Gray joined Infrastructure Ontario’s Project Delivery division in 2006, shortly after the agency’s formation.
As a Senior Project Manager and subsequently Executive Vice President, Bruce delivered a number of projects, including Bridgepoint Health, Hamilton Juravinski Hospital, Toronto Rehab, McMaster Children’s Health Centre, and many others, managing projects from the early development of the design specifications to contract execution and ensuring comprehensive project management throughout construction and commissioning. He also managed the delivery of justice projects — including the Toronto South Detention Centre, Southwest Detention Centre, and OPP Modernization project — and stadium projects for the 2015 Pan American Games.
As Senior Vice President from 2016 to 2021, Bruce assumed responsibility for the delivery of more than 20 social infrastructure projects with a capital value of over $4 billion, including St. Michael’s Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Phase 1C, Groves Memorial Hospital, Michael Garron Hospital, and West Park Healthcare. Since 2020, Bruce has also worked closely with the Commercial Projects group on development initiatives with MLTC and led the Accelerated LTC Pilot project to the execution of the 3 contracts.
Bruce took on the Executive Vice President role in Project Delivery in 2021, overseeing IO’s Social portfolio including Healthcare, Justice, Public Works and non P3 projects.
